The Pampered Chef spatulas and spoonulas also have this "no place for mold to breed" feature.

Oh the Silpat Mat is the most wonderful kitchen invention of the century. It has made baking a complete pleasure--and I never have to grease the pans. And they're nice for doing oven fries as well.
KD--thanks for the tip that Amazon has them for under $15. One of my two precious mats recently got a slit in it (husbands, grr!), and I'm glad that I can replace it for under $20. And that I can order one for my mother and one for my sister and one for my MIL )if she gets off the naughty list)...
Another fabulous kitchen find is the Chef'N Switchit Spatula. It's got a metal core completely encased in silicon--which means that there's no opportunity for moisture to get between the head and the handle and breed mold. It's got a big spatula on one end and a little one on the other, so if you have one of these, it's the only scaper you need. I'm also getting one of these for every cook I know.
