My morning started out with a phone call from my son's teacher about his behavior. (NEVER a good call to get.) That had me stressed out enough, then I get to work to find an email from the Home Owner's Assoc. Treasurer, that they have their house for sale. (The President just quit a couple of weeks ago, because she's moving in a week.)
That leaves me and the secretary. UGH!!!!!
I'm kind of freaking out right now. I don't want this to be an excuse to eat poorly today, so I'm posting to remind myself that HEALTHY food will help me deal with the stress better than chocolate/cake/cookies/brownies...

I hope all works out well. I'm sorry it was a rough start. Good for you for posting though. And you are right. You will feel much better, physically and emotionally if you use good fuel for your body today.
Oh, Dawn, that does sound stressful. I hope you're coping well.
Can you call the association secretary and talk over plans to replace the two other officers, or at least how you'll cover for them until you can? Maybe you need to let some of the other homeowners know what's going on, and see if anyone is willing to step up and help you out.
As far as the call from the teacher, you may need to just put that out of your mind for now. I know, easier said than done, but there probably isn't anything you can do about it while you're at work anyway. Wait till you can focus on the issue as a family.
Dawn, I'm so sorry you're having a tough morning, but good for you for posting and trying to keep your health a priority!
My evening was stressful last night as I had to stay late at work with a rush project and it has carried on into this morning, when I found out that the Microsoft Word report file where I'd documented all the drama that went on yesterday with this rush project (and other projects) is gone. Poof. Weird. I'm still doing searches for it but it seems to have vanished into thin air!
