Broken tooth, no eating...at least hard foods, so DH decides we should have something soft, like soft shell tacos last night for dinner. 1 taco, some nachos, no cheese, fruit. Great I am fine, but then the havoc started, a whole Dove candy bar, chips (18 of them) 1/2 a beer with my son....and lots of talking after midnight..... can I say priceless. Nope, blood sugars are high, and I am feeling like there is no energy. Do I regret it, well, every once in awhile, I need to be reminded that I can stray into areas I need to think about first, and this was definitely one of them. UGH!
It's never too late to get it right.

You can get back on plan right this minute.
Hope your tooth is ok by tomorrow!
I was struck with the fact that you actually counted the number of chips!! To me that is pretty great-you knew exactly how many chips you had! I would not ever have a clue how many went in my mouth. I couldn't even count by the handful or shovel full!! If I am binge on foods I most likely could not tell you numbers or portions-just empty chip bags, ice cream containers, soda bottles etc.
All in all, you didn't blow it. 18 chips, one candy bar, and 1/2 a beer may not be the ultimate healthy bed-time snack but overall not too bad!!
Glad to hear you got to spend quality time with your son!
